Historical Ramla
- Ramla was established during the beginning of the 8th Century (716-718 A.C)
- Ramla was the only city in Israel to be established by the Muslims
- The first Crusaders arrived to Ramla in 1099 A.C, and soon built the famous St. John’s Church
- Ramla was liberated on the 12th of July 1948 during the “Dani Operation”, under the direct command of Moshe Dayan
- Since then, Ramla has served as the District Capital, home to various Government Offices and Services
- Since 1948, Ramla has traditionally served as an absorption center to many New Immigrants, arriving from all over the world
